|
More than 18 millions tons of excrement
of the tilapia fishes receive the big lake Nicaragua
every month. Junk of industries and other garbages
are thrown by the nearest towns to the lake. The Nicaragua
lake is the biggest in Central America. Recently was
revealed that Mr Patrick Bolaños, cousin of
the President of Nicaragua, Enrique Bolaños
Geyer, was the manager of the enterprise Nicanor (Mares
Nica Noruegos S.A.) that breeds tilapia in this infinite
font of water. Many villagers say that if this continues
(the tilapia breeding) the lake is going to finished
contaminated. If damages continue, the lake may not
be healed and might get dried, say experts. The tilapia
breeding is a big business worldwide and has many
economical earnings. The earnings that this enterprise
receive is greater because they do not invest nothing
for keeping sane the lake. The water of this big lake
is still drinkable and is not much contaminated. The
deputy of the National Assembly, Jarquín Anaya
wrote a letter to the president Bolaños, expressing
him that the next year the water of this lake is going
to be used for drinking.

Corinto Port will be dragged |

Today starts the drag at
the harbour of Corinto. Is an investment of
3.6 millions of euros loaned by the Belgian
bank KBC, said the executive president of
the National Enterprise Port, NEP, Alejandro
Fiallos. According the experts of the NEP,
the drag will be done on February of the next
year. This project was stopped for five months
for conflicts between the Government and the
National Assembly.

The police frustrated an
assault to a state bank named "Banco
de Costa Rica (in English Bank of Costa Rica)"
addressed in the capital of Costa Rica, San
José, and two Nicaraguan were arrested.
The director of the police, Mr. Walter Navarro,
said that the suspect's names are López
Prado, 39 years old and Ortiz Prado, 35 years
old. An eyewitness extended that "one
of the arrested suspect entered the bank,
and when a security agent got close to him,
the suspect person took out a gun", according
to a press release provided by the Public
Security Agency. Experts say that with this
problem, the differences between Costa Rican
and Nicaraguan are going to be bigger.

Leal will be burry |

On Thursday the mortal remains
of Ernesto Leal are going to be burry. The Nicaraguan
consulate extended that today Leal's remains are
repatriated. The vigil of Ernesto Leal will take
place at the funerary Montes de los Olivos placed
at the Nicaraguan capital, Managua. Ernesto Leal
past away on the dawn of this past Monday and his
mortal remains are in a funerary at Miami.
